Gango's funeral

We all went to Gango's funeral today. Since all the boys said they wanted to go, some friends came and watched over the place and the goats so we all could go. Watching all the boys was difficult/interesting/revealing. Each person reacts/deals with situations differently. Part of the funeral was the viewing at his church. The tradition here is that everyone files by (that wants to) and looks at the person. They keep it at a pretty quick pace and don't let anyone stop for over a few seconds. Some of the boys didn't go, some went but didn't look. A couple you could see they just wanted to stop by his side but couldn't because of the pace. One boy, Nelson, came through twice, the first time not sure what to do, the second time broken. Jose who has been taking this harder then most collapsed by Gango.. All the little guys went through together very broken up. Francisco, who just lost his mother recently, you could tell he wasn't sure if he wanted to do this or not.
All the little guys went home after the viewing and didn't go to the funeral. Heather said they were pretty upset. But when they got home they wanted to see pictures of Gango on her computer. She set it on 'slide show' and they sat laughing and commenting on the different pictures.
At the funeral there were thousands of people, when I said Gongo was a father to hundreds, I was wrong.
