Jewish Cats

We have had a lot of sick goats of late. Our vet says it's worms but I have treated them and they are not getting better... 3 have died so I don't have a lot of confidence in his Diagnosis.
To give and example of what I am referring to a couple of weeks ago I wanted to have our cats fixed but I didn't know how to say 'fixed'. (Why do we break down a function and call it fixed??? I was always told 'if it's not broke don't fix it!!') Since it was the females that I wanted him to do, I had no idea how to say it, I don't have the vocabulary for it. So I started with the concept in males and would work my way there. In trying to explain yourself with out having the vocabulary you can say it- crudely- but make your point. So I asked him what is the process called of cutting off their balls so they can't reproduce?(all in Portuguese of course) and he replied 'Circumcision'... I can tell you this guy is not going to be my Rabbi!! No no it's not circumcision I responded I'm not going to circumcise my cats... it's something else. After a bit of going around and explaining to him the difference between castration and circumcision, in my lack of vocabulary in Portuguese, I was finally able -- a few weeks ago-- to get our female cats 'fixed'
I noticed yesterday that our cat appears to be pregnant
